    • Chrome
The word chrome comes from the element chromium, which is rooted in the Greek khroma, "color." Chrome is a very shiny layer of metallic coating that's applied to a metal surface. Rather than being one type of solid metal, things made of chrome are generally coated with chromium plate as a protective or decorative layer.

Increasing the amount of Chromium gives an increased resistance to corrosion.

Aluminium is a relatively light weight type of silver-colored metal. There is more aluminium in the earth's crust than any other kind of metal, and because it is so sturdy, pliable, and light, it's used to make all kinds of things. The name is based on alumina, or aluminum oxide, with a Latin root of alumen, "bitter salt."
    • Tempered glass / Toughened glass
Toughened or tempered glass is a type of safety glass processed by controlled thermal or chemical treatments to increase its strength compared with normal glass. Tempering puts the outer surfaces into compression and the interior into tension. Such stresses cause the glass, when broken, to crumble into small granular chunks instead of splintering into jagged shards as normal glass does. The granular chunks are less likely to cause injury.
As a result of its safety and strength, toughened glass is used in a variety of demanding applications.
    • Marble is a type of mineral rich shiny rock that is used in furniture to make heavy contemporary tables and cladding in interior and exterior spaces. Marble carries an ability to shine and take a top coat of polish making it a highly valued surface in interiors thanks to rich lustrous appeal.
